Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin currently chairs the
Boards of a diversified conglomerate DRB-HICOM Berhad,
Gas Malaysia Berhad and a JV EON Petromin Sdn Bhd. He
joined the Board of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad in
October 2023 and was appointed as its Chairman in May
2024. He was previously on the Board of Exxon Mobil
Corporation and the Chairman of Malaysia Aviation
Group and Malaysia Airlines Berhad.
Wan Zulkiflee graduated from University of Adelaide,
South Australia with a Degree in Chemical Engineering.
He attended the Senior Management Program conducted by
INSEAD and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard
Business School.
Wan Zulkiflee had served Petronas for 37 years. He was
appointed President and Group CEO in April 2015 and
retired from the position after a highly successful
5-year tenure. He was on the Board of Petronas for
more than 12 years.
He served as one of the Oil and Gas Governors at the
WEF in Davos. He was the Council member of ASCOPE, the
association of the National Oil and Gas companies in
ASEAN for 5 years. He was also the Chairman of the
Malaysia’s National Trust Fund which was set up
to conserve wealth from natural resources for the
benefit of the nation and its future generations. He
was a Council Member of the East Coast Economic Region
Development Council (ECERDC) and the Northern Corridor
Implementation Authority (NCIA) where he chaired the
Audit Committees at both Agencies.
Wan Zulkiflee is passionate about talent and
leadership development as well as establishing the
right culture for organisations. He currently serves
on the Board of Advisors of Yayasan Prihatin National.
He is an Adjunct Professor and sits on the Industry
Advisory Board, International Islamic University
Malaysia and previously served on its Board of
Governors, where he was also the Chairman of
University Risk Management Committee. He was the Pro
Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and was on
the Board of Trustees for Razak School of Government,
an institution dedicated to the development of public
sector leadership.
He is an Honorary Fellow of the Institution of
Chemical Engineers, United Kingdom and a Fellow Member
for Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).

Adhwa Alabdulkarim is an investment professional with
over a decade of experience in M&A, strategic
advisory, and board governance. She has a proven track
record of executing multi-billion-dollar transactions,
optimizing investment strategies, and delivering
sustainable value to stakeholders.
Currently, Adhwa is the Head of Corporate Finance at
Beacon Rail Leasing, where she leads investment
underwriting, portfolio optimization, and financing
strategies to drive business growth. Prior to this,
she was part of the Infrastructure Investments team at
Brookfield Asset Management, managing high-profile
transactions across telecom, utilities, and energy.
She began her career at Saudi Aramco, where she played
a pivotal role in structuring joint ventures and
leading major cost-saving negotiations.
Adhwa has served on boards and advisory committees
across various industries, contributing to strategic
decision-making, refinancing, and M&A initiatives.
She is also an Investment Committee Member at Bupa
Arabia, overseeing its multi-billion-dollar investment
portfolio and guiding long-term financial strategy.
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a
Bachelor of Science in Finance from Prince Mohammed
Bin Fahd University.

Mahmoud Razouqi
Maen Razouqi currently serves as the Group Managing
Director of Razouqi Holding, a regional investment
firm. The firm is dedicated to seeding and scaling
startups, driving the expansion of established
companies in the region, and optimizing institutional
returns through tailored solutions. Razouqi
Holding’s diverse portfolio includes sectors
such as energy, AI, digital technologies, talent
management, hospitality, real estate, and customer
experience. He was honored as one of Forbes’ Top
100 MENA Leaders.
From October 2021 to September 2023, he served as the
Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, the
national airline carrier established in 1954.
Maen began his career with Schlumberger in 1998 as a
Field Engineer in Texas, USA. Over the years, he has
held a variety of senior operational and managerial
roles across technical, HR, sales, operations, and
marketing domains, accumulating over 26 years of
international experience in Africa, the Middle East,
Europe, and Asia. He was the MD of the Northern Middle
East Region, based in Kuwait City, Vice President for
Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur, and Global Marketing
& Technology Vice President for the Reservoir
Characterization Group, managing R&D and M&A
portfolios for SLB headquarters in Paris, among other
roles.
Born on April 17, 1973, Maen holds a Civil Engineering
degree from Arizona State University and a Diploma in
Strategic Finance from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
In addition to his leadership at Razouqi Holding, Maen
is the Chairman of Trans Sahara, a technology trading
hub established in 2010 and headquartered in Kuwait.
He is also one of the Principal Co-Founders and a
Director of AFKAR Energy. Additionally, he is the
Chairman of Soul Artists, a prominent global digital
platform for talent connectivity, founded in 2018. He
also chairs Wasel, a last-mile logistics integrator,
and is a Board Member of IMCC, a marine services
company founded in 1974.
Furthermore, he serves as an Advisory Board Member of
Global Rig Moves, specializing in land rig logistics,
and in 2024, he co-founded Da Gusto, a regional
authentic Italian trattoria. He also acts as a Senior
Advisor to Union Trading Company, a family-owned
retail and consumer services enterprise established in
1949 in Kuwait.
